Big Novel

My Love, Enlighten me (Official translation)

After hearing Gloria Taylor's words, Kenny Clarke neither nodded nor shook his head.

Gloria Taylor thought for a while and said, "So, as long as we find out where Ding Moore is, we can find James Moore."

Kenny Clarke did not speak but raised his wrist to check the time, and then stood up, "I have to go to the company now. There are still many things that have not been done."

Gloria Taylor was about to nod, but as if she thought of something, she said, "Wait a minute."

Then, she took out her mobile phone and forwarded the email from Kenny Clarke's mobile phone to her mailbox before giving the mobile phone back to Kenny Clarke.

Kenny Clarke took over the phone and went out with his jacket.

Gloria Taylor took her mobile phone upstairs. She took her computer and then went to Kenny Clarke's study room.

She hadn't finished reading the email.

The rest of the email was some personal experience of Ding Moore, such as which school he graduated from and where he worked.

To Gloria Taylor's surprise, Ding Moore turned out to be a chef in a five-star hotel.

This was totally different from James Moore's job.

No matter what Ding Moore did, he must have his purpose to take James Moore away forcibly.

The two brothers may just have some conflicts, so Ding Moore took James Moore away to talk. But for the sake of safety, Gloria Taylor still wanted to see if James Moore was safe.

Gloria Taylor put her mobile phone aside, turned on her computer, and searched the Internet for the five-star hotel where Ding Moore worked.

She picked up the pen and wrote the address in the notebook.

Gloria Taylor rechecked the nearest flight, but she couldn't help but be lost in her thought.

When she didn't know what Kenny Clarke was thinking, Gloria Taylor would still blame Kenny Clarke for being unreasonable. Yet, now, she felt sorry for accusing him.

Kenny Clarke was willing to help her investigate Ding Moore's affairs, but in the final analysis, it should be her business.

Gloria Taylor's gaze returned to the screen, clicking the mouse in her hand, and booked a flight ticket of tomorrow morning to the ocean's other side.

There was no time to lose. The sooner the matter was handled, the better it was.

After she booked the air ticket, she took out her mobile phone and called Jennifer Jones, "I'm going abroad tomorrow. I want to trouble you to find someone to get my visa done."

After Jennifer Jones heard what Gloria Taylor said, she growled, "Hey, do you think I'm so capable? Do you really think I'm superwoman…"

Gloria Taylor did not interrupt Jennifer Jones. She just waited for Jennifer Jones to finish her speaking, then she asked Jennifer Jones slowly, "Do you help me or not?"

"You..." Jennifer Jones was so speechless, "Fine. I'll help you!"

"Thank you." Gloria Taylor knew that Jennifer Jones had many connections, so it was right to ask her for this kind of thing.

At this time, Jennifer Jones realized afterward, "Why are you going abroad? How many chapters have you written about Lost City2? You..."

What answered to her was the beep sound of the phone being hung up.

             Jennifer Jones, "..."

             ...

After Kenny Clarke came back that night, Gloria Taylor had already prepared dinner.

Half of the dishes were Kenny Clarke's favorite dishes.

Gloria Taylor sat at the dining table, looking at him with a smile.

Kenny Clarke loosened his tie, handed the jacket in his hand to the servant who was aside, sat down in front of Gloria Taylor, and asked her, "What is this?"

Gloria Taylor smiled slightly, "Thank you for helping me investigate Ding Moore."

"I'm not helping you." Kenny Clarke said expressionlessly.

             Gloria Taylor raised her eyebrows.

Kenny Clarke bowed his head and picked up the chopsticks before adding, "Your business is my business, isn't it?"

Gloria Taylor was taken aback. She took over the bowl in front of him, ladled him a small bowl of soup, and put it back in front of him. She did not speak but just smiled at him.

Kenny Clarke squinted his eyes slightly and suddenly said, "What's up?"

"I said that I just want to thank you." Gloria Taylor gave him an angry look and then withdrew her gaze.

             She was a little nervous.

She was a little worried that Kenny Clarke would see that she had already planned to go abroad to find Ding Moore alone.

Fortunately, Kenny Clarke didn't talk about this issue anymore. He just bowed his head to eat.

When Kenny Clarke got up early the next morning, Gloria Taylor also got up.

While Kenny Clarke was tying his tie, she walked over and took over his tie to tie it.

After that, when she raised her eyes, she saw Kenny Clarke staring at her with a cold face, with an unclear look in his eyes.

The two looked at each other for a few seconds. Gloria Taylor asked him first, "What's wrong?"

Kenny Clarke didn't speak. He held her head with one hand and kissed her.

Gloria Taylor froze for a while, but soon she softened and was obedient to let Kenny Clarke kiss her.

After the long kiss ended, Kenny Clarke touched her face, "Are you going out today?"

             "Yeah." Gloria Taylor nodded.

Kenny Clarke's voice was unusually gentle, "Will we go out together? I can drive you here first."

His eyes were dark, giving Gloria Taylor the illusion of being seen through.

Gloria Taylor turned her head away to avoid his gaze. She stretched out her hand and stroked the long hair in her ear: "No, go by yourself. I have to wait for Tina Clarke to wake up."

The weather was getting colder day by day. Tina Clarke started to get up late. When Kenny Clarke left in the morning, she hadn't gotten up.

Kenny Clarke only said, "It's up to you."

He did not say anything else.

After Kenny Clarke left, Gloria Taylor went upstairs to see Tina Clarke.

Tina Clarke had woken up and was letting the servant help to get dressed.

             "Tina?"

As soon as Tina Clarke saw Gloria Taylor, she squinted and smiled, "Mom."

"You wake up." Gloria Taylor sat down by the bed, "Mom has something to deal with, so I have to go to a faraway place. It will take me a while to come back. You have to be obedient at home."

Tina Clarke asked her, "By airplane?" She had watched cartoons and knew that he needed to take the airplane if one went to a faraway place.

"Yes, Tina even knows this. You're so smart." Gloria Taylor touched Tina's head.

After Tina Clarke heard this, her eyes lit up, "I want to fly too."

"I will take you to take the plane next time."

             "No..."

"Mom won't lie to you. I will really take you to take a plane next time."

Although Tina Clarke was reluctant, she nodded with pouted and reluctantly said, "Okay."

             ...

After Gloria Taylor comforted Tina Clarke, she drove away from the villa.

When she came to live in Kenny Clarke's house, she didn't bring any luggage. Now she was going to the previous house to take luggage.

Unexpectedly, her selfish considerations at the time were convenient for her now.

If she left with Kenny Clarke's house's luggage, the bodyguard in the villa would definitely tell Kenny Clarke. Before she arrived at the airport, maybe she would be caught by Kenny Clarke.

After arriving at the previously rented house, Gloria Taylor quickly sorted her luggage and drove to the airport.
