I Become the Pearl of the Family After Our Marriage - Aylin

In the library, the two found a quiet corner to sit down. 

Aylin took out her laptop from her backpack, connected it to her phone with a data cable, and started a virus scan on her computer. 

Xavier rested his arm on the table, lazily supporting his head as he watched her operate. "What's wrong with that guy? Why is he messing with you like this?" 

"He is crazy," Aylin replied, typing on the keyboard. "He wants me to join him in a hacking challenge, but I refused." 

"What kind of challenge?" 

"Hack into the core database of an international corporation." 

Xavier shook his head. "He really is crazy." 

Aylin and Torpedo were not the same type of people. Torpedo was like a maniac who loved thrills and crazy challenges, which did not interest her. 

"By the way, do you know a hacker named Visage?" Xavier suddenly asked. 

Aylin kept her eyes on the screen. "Yes, I know." 

"Is she good?" 

"She's alright. Why do you ask?" 

"My dad wants to find her, but she's pretty hard to track down." 

Aylin turned to look at him. "Why does your dad want to find Visage?" 

Xavier shrugged. "It's all about power struggles and shares, dealing with my uncle." 

Aylin understood. "I can contact her." 

"Really?" Xavier was a bit surprised. "She's not just any hacker. It's said she tops the international hacker list." 

Aylin looked back at the computer screen. "Once my phone is restored, I'll send you a foreign website where you can contact her." 

Xavier smiled, "Then I must thank you properly." 

Aylin chuckled, "Thank you for the coffee." After a pause, she added, "Today was indeed a bit embarrassing." 

"No worries. I won't laugh at you." Despite saying that, Xavier's shoulders shook with laughter. It was the first time he had seen Aylin looking so embarrassed. 

Aylin glanced at him without saying anything. 

About an hour later, Aylin unplugged the data cable. 

"Is it done?" Xavier asked. 

"Yes, it's restored." Aylin picked up her phone and sent him the website link. "I sent you the link." 

"Got it." Xavier opened the message. "Is this site specifically for contacting Visage?" 

"No, it can only be used once. Their website changes constantly, and her IPs are all over the world." 

"No wonder she's hard to find." Xavier looked at Aylin's phone and asked, "What if your nemesis tries to hack you again?" 

"No problem," Aylin said lazily. "I've installed a new defense system on my phone. He won't break through it anytime soon." 

Xavier gave her a thumbs up in praise. "Awesome." 

Aylin smiled. "I'll treat you to lunch." 

Xavier replied, "The usual place." 

"No problem." Aylin packed up her laptop and checked the time on her phone. "It's just about time for Professor Yarrow's class. Let's go." 

Xavier stood up. "I'm not going to his class with you. It's like listening to gibberish." 

Aylin nodded. "Alright, see you at noon under the teaching building." 

"Okay." 

They left the library and went to their respective classrooms. 

After class, Antwan asked Aylin to stay behind and inquired, "Aylin, have you decided to go to Polaris Technologies?" 

"Yes." Aylin nodded. "Professor Yarrow, I've made up my mind." 

"Good," Antwan smiled. "Rodrigo is a good person. I believe you two will achieve great things together." 

"Thank you, Professor Yarrow." 

"No need to thank me. It's your own capability that matters. Work hard, Aylin." 

"I will. I plan to go to Polaris Technologies after final exams are over." 

Antwan nodded in satisfaction. "Alright then, I just wanted to check in with you. Go have your meal now." 

"Thank you, Professor Yarrow. Goodbye." 

As Aylin left the teaching building, she immediately saw Xavier waiting under a tree and walked over to him. 

They left together. 

Nearby students whispered among themselves. 

"Aren't those Aylin and Xavier? Why are they together again? Didn't they have a falling out?" 

"It's obvious they're back together now." 

"Hasn't he seen what kind of woman Aylin is? How can he still be friends with her?" 

"Who knows what tricks Aylin used? I heard she didn't even have five dollars on her card when buying coffee this morning. How embarrassing!" 

"Oh my! So she doesn't even have money for food? Is she using Xavier as a meal ticket? That's shameless!" 

Near the University of Faypine was an excellent hotpot restaurant. 

Aylin and Xavier often came here. It was their usual place. 

Knowing her for three years, Xavier was very familiar with Aylin's taste and ordered dishes she liked. 

Aylin also ordered his favorites, resulting in them ordering too much food. 

After eating, Aylin called for the waiter to pay the bill. The waiter said, "Miss, your bill has already been paid." 

Hearing this, Aylin looked at Xavier. 

Xavier smiled as he stood up. "Let's go." 

Aylin followed him up. "I said I'd treat this time." 

Xavier replied lazily, "Next time then." 

They left the restaurant. 

Xavier went home. 

Aylin walked back towards campus while opening WhatsApp on her phone and sending a message to an account with a black avatar. 

"Someone from Faypine will look for me today. I'll take on this." 

"Are you not busy anymore?" 

Aylin replied, "Still busy, but I'll handle this one." 

"Got it." 

As soon as Aylin stepped onto campus grounds, Carmen approached her and stopped in front of her. 

"Why are you with Xavier again? What shameless tricks are you using now?" 

Aylin replied impatiently, "Carmen, I don't want to deal with you. You'd better stay away from me." 

She continued walking past Carmen. 

Carmen grabbed her arm persistently. "Who allowed you to leave? What's going on between you and Xavier?" 

Aylin turned back. "What does it have to do with you? Who do you think you are?" 

"Sleeping around with other men while still clinging onto Xavier, how shameless can you be? What? The man you're sleeping with isn't paying you, so you have to pester Xavier again?" 

A cold light flashed in Aylin's eyes as she forcefully shook off Carmen's hand. Due to her using too much strength, Carmen lost balance and fell to the ground. 

She cried out in pain and angrily shouted through gritted teeth, "You dare push me?" 

"Carmen!" 

Jazmin quickly ran over and helped her daughter up while glaring coldly at Aylin. "What are you doing?" 

Aylin's face turned icy cold. "Can't you see? Getting rid of clingy pests." 

Carmen gritted her teeth. "You shameless woman! You're nothing but a sticky pest yourself!" 

Jazmin let go of Carmen and stepped closer towards Aylin full of contempt. "You're truly an uneducated thing! Today, I'll teach you some manners on behalf of your dead father!" 

She raised her hand intending to slap Aylin! 

Before Jazmin could touch her face, Aylin swiftly grabbed Jazmin's wrist tightly, saying coldly, "You're not worthy!" 

A sharp pain shot through Jazmin's wrist, making her yell out angrily, "Let go, you wretch!" 

With sudden force, Aylin twisted Jazmin's wrist, causing Jazmin to cry out in pain. "Since you've already called me a wretch, I might as well live up to being one!"
